Our client is URGENTLY recruiting for a Lower Primary teacher to join their school ASAP in Egypt.
The is an international school provides British style education to children from Early Years to High school from aged 3 to 18.
Our client is a reputable international school located in the suburb of Cairo with a safe and quiet environment. The school is part of a large educational organisation in the Gulf with plenty of opportunities.
The school provides a wide range of facilities to ensure students have a good quality of learning environment. The facilities include football pitch, gymnasium, play area, basketball court, science labs, computer labs, music room, art & design room, air-conditioned classrooms with access to interactive white boards, huge sport hall, outdoor swimming pool, running track and adventure playground. There are around 140 school staff in the school at present and vast majority of them are expatriates coming from, UK, USA, Europe, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, UAE and Asia.
Duties and responsibilities:
**Plan lessons and courseworks in accordance with the primary syllabus
**Ensure teaching resources are up-to-date
**Assess student learning development and ensure the school and parents are aware of it
**Set challenging tasks for students according to their abilities
**Listen to students, advise them and give positive directions
**Supervise students in all activities within the school or field trips
**Be a role model and set a good example to student
**Carry out any other reasonable duties given by the head
Egypt in a country that has a very rich cultures and long history. The city has a warm climate all year-round, fine sands deserts, wealth of ancient sites that full of mysteries made it as a good destination for travel and work. The living costs in Egypt is also relatively low and cheap shopping is available everywhere is Cairo. Eating in Egypt also comes in cheap with the options from street food to expensive restaurants. Kebabs, falafel, grilled corn and koshary are among the common food in Egypt.
