SeekTeachers is recruiting for a qualified Early Years teacher on behalf of our client in the beautiful Malaysia. 
 
A successful candidate will be qualified teacher with a degree in Bachelor of Early Years/Education, an English native speaker with minimum of 2 years teaching experience, a good understanding of the UK curriculum and has excellent classroom practice. 
 
Each of the classes will have internationally qualified teachers, supported by bilingual local assistant teachers. It currently has over 150 students enrolled for the new academic year and this number is set to continue to increase year on year. Students are coming from wide variety of backgrounds both local and expatriates.  The academic staff in the international school are all qualified teachers with over 10 different nationalities.   
 
The mix of various ethnic groups who live together in harmony, create an eclectic mix of their cultures and cuisine which make Malaysia special. Malaysia is a safe country where may visitors feel comfortable as the locals are friendly and open. The amazing twin towers in the city, beautiful beaches along the coast, and Cameron highlands are a few of the attractions which make Malaysia unique.

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 8,000 up to 10,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,500  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided

State/Public medical provided

Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
