We are URGENTLY seeking for an experienced and passionate Middle School Science teacher to join our client this September. The position is permanent and based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
This is an established IB school located about 30 mins away from Abu Dhabi city and adopts the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum to children from Kindergarten to Grade 12, delivering the IBPYP, MYP and DP curriculum. The school has just over 1,500 children at present with mainly Emiriti children and a small percentage of expat children.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver excellent Business lessons to students up to high school level according to their educational needs
- Teach across the age and ability range as necessary
- Assist in the preparation and marking of assessments
- Liaise closely with the Head of Secondary and Principal on all matters
- Ensure that all classes are taught according to the curriculum and examination syllabus
- Ensure that marking, assessment techniques and record keeping are carried out in accordance with the school policies
- Establish routines and provide positive guidance
- Communicate with parents and ensure they aware their child’s progress and development
