**Chief Academic Officer**

Our client is an established educational based in the capital city of Beijing. They are URGENTLY seeking for a chief academic officer to join them this August. The CAO will be a member of the International Business Division of education group team and reports directly to the Director of the International Business Division.
The position is to in charge of the overall academic management and operations and the duties involve:
- Lead and guide the academic research and development to support the international school division
- Build a scientific academic system which is suitable for the students according to the school mission and vision of international business based on the main curriculum
- Work closely with each school's academic director and leading teachers to design curriculum and related teaching guide
- Lead and supervise the implementation of curriculum, course of study and student evaluation
- Work within a group to determine the students' learning progress and adaptation of the curriculum and course of study
- Communicate closely with students' learning and adaptability to evaluate our domestic curriculum's success and revise accordingly
- Design a professional development plan for the academic managers and teachers according to the curriculum requirement
- Assist HR of the international business division in building relations with international teachers' recruitment channels
- Assist HR with defining teacher qualification requirements and managerial positions at the school
- Create academic documents for marketing communications
- Participate in school marketing activities and meetings as required
Requirements to apply:
**Masters degree in Education or above is preferred
**Minimum of 5 years teaching experience, ideally international experience
**Good understanding of the American education system and international education
**Familiar with Chinese culture and students
**Native English speaker
**Basic Chinese is beneficial but not essential
**Flexible and adaptable
