Description

SeekTeachers is seeking an IGCSE Geography teacher to be based in the beautiful Malaysia. The school provides educational service for students from year 5 to year 16 year old following both UK international Cambridge Curriculum and Malaysia national curriculums. 
 
Requirements to apply:
- Bachelor degree in Geography or relevant subject
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS/Teaching license
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- English native speaker
- Ideally teaching experience in CIE curriculum
- Flexible to adapt into new culture 
 
The school is situated in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. The school has a charming and quiet surrounding and provides excellent facilities such as air-conditioned classrooms, ICT lab, Science lab, music room, gymnasium, badminton hall, basketball court, tennis court, indoor swimming pool, art & design room, squash court and cafeteria.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 9,000 up to 10,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
