I am looking for a qualified and experienced HOD Special Needs to start Sept 2016 in Dubai.
The School offers bilingual education in Arabic and English with a strong emphasis on the respect of local culture and values.The school delivers the National Curriculum for England from the Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 5 (3 years old to 16 years old. The school offers IGCSE examinations through Cambridge and Edexel in Years 10 and 11, and AS and A2n examinations in Years 12 and 13.

Job Description:
**Demonstrate high skills in managing the Special Needs department.
**Prepare curriculum.
**Ability to mentor and develop Special Needs teachers.
**Conduct regular meetings with the staff and listen to teachers feedback.
**Attend parents evening meetings and update them on the department progress.
Requirements:
**Western Degree in Special Needs.
**Teaching qualification in Special Needs
**Ideally 2 years experience as Head of Department.
**Familiar with the UK Curriculum
**Ideally native speaker of english
**Tech savvy

**Experience of teaching students from the Middle East is preferred
