Description

An established international school in Malaysia is URGENTLY seeking for a Secondary English teacher to join their successful team ASAP.
 
An ideal candidate should have the following: 
 
- Bachelor degree in English/English Literature 
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
- Must have the experience in teaching IGCSE or GCSE 
- Flexible to adapt into new culture 
 
This international school located in Johor Bahru, approximately 45 mins away from Singapore. The school adopts the British curriculum and caters for students from aged 5 to 16. There are just over 2000 students in the whole school at present and is still growing. 
 
Duties and responsibilities: 
*Motivating and stimulating the children's learning abilities
*Organising learning materials and resources 
*Observing, assessing and recording each child's progress
*Keeping up to date with changes in curriculum and developments in best practice 
*Working with others to plan and coordinate work both indoors and outdoors 
*Establish good relationship with parents and children 
*Attending in-service training

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 8,000 up to 11,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,500   MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
