The international school is also one of the earliest that introduce the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum to the students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The whole school has over 1,500 students consist of mainly local Chinese students with a small percentage of expatriates coming from USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, UK and other part of Asia.
The school first started in a small building in the heart of Beijing and now has growth into a large purpose built campus that caters for over 1,500 students. Students are dicipline, hardworking and keen to learn. There are over 150 qualified teachers working in the school at present. Most teachers are from the USA and UK and are experienced.
The international school is currently looking for a PYP teacher to join their team this Aug/Sept. An ideal candidate will have the following:
- At least bachelor degree level qualification in the subject
- PGCE or equivalent ie qualification to practice as a licensed teacher
- At least 2 years teaching experience
- English native speaker
- IB teaching experience is desirable but not essential
