A Level Chemistry Teacher | Teach in Shanghai | Top British International School | August 2016 start 
 
This international school in Shanghai, China follows the UK and Wales national curriculum for students from Year 10 to Year 13 ageing between 15 to 18 years old.  The school is located 20 minutes from the city centre and has a well-facilitated campus include auditorium, gymnasium, football field, rugby field, tennis courts, 25m indoor heated swimming pool, athletic tracks and canteen.
 
There are 600 students in the school composed of 100% non-expatriate students with approximately 70 experienced and professional teaching staff. The teaching staff is mixed with 70% of expatriates and 30% non-expatriates. 
 
Minimum requirements:
***Bachelor degree or above in Chemistry or relevant subject
***Teaching qualification from western countries
***Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Chemistry
***Excellent English or native speakers 
***Flexible and adaptable to new culture

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 18,000 up to 25.000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 5000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
8,000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given

Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
