**Chemistry Teacher**
**Teach in Shanghai, China**
**August 2016 start**
 
A distinguished private school in Shanghai is looking for an engaging and dynamic Chemistry teacher to join their successful team in August 2016. This is a private school which instructs 500 students from Year 10 to Year 13, aged between 15-18 years old. The students are nationals and are prepared to going to access TOP universities in the world ie University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, London School of Economics and Political Science. 
 
The school delivers the UK National Curriculum of England and Wales offering the IGCSE by the Cambridge Examination Group and the A level. All overseas teachers are English native speakers with UK background and highly qualified. The working week consists 35-40 hours 5 day a week, teachers normally get 6-8 weeks holiday per annum. 
 
Desired skills & experience
 
**Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Chemistry 
**Bachelor Degree in Science with teaching qualification (2:1 and above)
**UK Background/ familiar UK curriculum
**Native English speaker
**Experience in Asia is preferable but not essential

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 18,000 up to 25.000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 5000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
8,000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
