**IBMYP Geography Teacher**
**Teaching job in Malaysia**
**August 2016 start**
 
Our client is one of the well-known private international institutes in Malaysia and was established for over 10 years. The school has 2 campuses in Malaysia and the main campus is based Kuala Lumpur. This school offers both International Baccalaureate (IB) and British National Curriculum in order to meet the international student’s needs.
 
Each campus has fully equipped facilities including air-conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi access within the campus, science labs, computer labs, music centres, art & design centres, libraries, 25m swimming pool, athletic fields, cafeteria and residential hall for boarders in the main campus.
 
This institute provides discipline and stress-free environment for students. There are approximately 1,100 expatriate and non-expatriate students in the school at present, aged from age 3 - 18 with over 20 different nationalities.
 
There are more than 100 academic staffs currently working in the school, all teachers are well-trained and experienced. The teaching hour consist 35-40 per week and teacher normally has approximately 50 days holiday per annum.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
3 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 9,000 up to 11,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,500  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided

State/Public medical provided
