Our client is an private international school and is seeking a dynamic, committed and experienced Lower Primary teacher to join them in Egypt starting immediately.
 
If you are a western trained teacher, English native speaker and has a minimum of 3 years teaching experience, apply now!
 
Job duties:
 
**Apply different teaching methods to ensure the lessons are fun, exciting and interesting
**Set challenges and tasks for students in accordance to their abilities
**Teach across the age and ability range as necessary
**Participate in parents meeting and ensure they are aware of their child’s progress
**Being a good team player and work effectively in a group
**Ensure students safety in the school environment
**Participate in school and parents meeting
**Set and mark homework
**Register students' attendances
 
Our client is a well- established international school based in the capital city, Cairo. The school provides both UK and International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum for over 1000 students in the school. The students are all aged between 5 to 18 year old with 90% of them are local Egyptian students and the 10%are expatriates.
 
Egypt has a long history since 640 AD. The country has many worth visiting places such as the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, art museums, historical mosques and temples. Living in Egypt is interesting as they are many plenty of activities are available for you to do during the leisure time such as exploring the deserts, camel riding, visiting the River Nile, visiting the beautiful beaches in the country. Getting around Cairo is convenient and cheap. There are public transports such as trains and taxi can be found in the town.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
3 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 20,000 up to 27,000  GBP (British Pound) per annum based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Housing allowance of 4,000 EGP  GBP (British Pound) provided

State/Public medical provided

Flight(s) provided
Bereavement Leave:
