An International Baccalaureate (IB) School in Singapore is currently recruiting for a IBPYP Coordinator to join the team in August 2016.
This is an international school under one of the big international educational groups in Asia and has been established for 10 years. The school campus is purpose built, modern and large with plenty of space.
This international school is set in the new district and comes with excellent facilities such as heated indoor swimming pool, spacious classrooms, large auditorium, gymnasium, basketball courts, tennis court, excellent art, science and music facilities and a synthetic grass sports field.
The school delivers the IB curriculum to 800 students with majority of them are from the local families and a small percentage of expatriate students. The students are aged from 3 to 18 year old from pre-school to senior years. This international school is a fully authorised IB World School for PYP (Primary Years Programme) and Middle Years Programme (MYP).
Job descriptions:
**Support and coordinate the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of effective and efficient PYP programs and professional development opportunities
**Provide direction, mentoring and support to PYP teachers and assistants in regard to the effective operation and provision of high quality PYP programmes
**Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to students from 5 to 12 years of age
**Organise and participate in staff meetings and training sessions
**Provide date for performance monitoring and monthly reports
**Be able to multi-tasking
**Responsive to range of situations
**Be flexible and adaptable to new culture
