SeekTeachers is URGENTLY looking for a Secondary English teacher to be part of their team in Egypt. This position is to teach English to students from aged 13 to 16.
To apply for the position, you will need:
- Bachelor degree in English or relevant subject
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS/Teaching diploma
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
- Native English speaker
- ESL/CIE/International teaching experience preferred
- Flexible to adapt into new culture
- Available to start ASAP/January 2016
Duties and responsibilities:
- To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate
- To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher
- To contribute to raising standards of achievement and maximising students attainment
- To be committed to the safeguarding of children
- To assist in the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking policies and teaching strategies in the department
- To take part in the school's staff development programme by participating in arrangements for further training and professional development
- To continue personal development in the relevant areas including subject knowledge and teaching methods
- To communicate effectively with teh parents of students as appropriate
