SeekTeachers is currently recruiting for a professional and committed Chemistry teacher on behalf of our prestigious client. This role is permanent and will be based in Shanghai, China.
An ideal candidate should have the following:
- Bachelor degree and above in Chemistry related subject
- Minimum of 4 years teaching experience in secondary Chemistry
- Experience working in Asia/International/boarding school is preferred
- Must have teaching qualification such as PGCE/Teaching License/Diploma
- Native English speaker
This private school has 2 campuses in the city, primary and secondary. The primary department is located in the heart of the city where it is in the protected architectural heritage area of Shanghai. The secondary department is situated at the suburb of the city which is only 30 minute drive from the SWFC the tallest building in China and it is also reachable by the metro too.
The secondary campus has approximately 400 students with majority local Chinese students and 15% expatriate students. There are also 40 well-trained teaching staff in the school comprised of 70% expatriate teachers and 30% non-expatriate teachers. Staff is continually provided professional development and support in all areas to build forward thinking instructors.

Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**Experience teaching in Asia is beneficial
**Candidates with boarding school experience preferred
**Candidates aged over 27 preferred as per schools requirement
Remuneration Package
Salary Range:
A salary from 20000 up to 30000
CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month
based on experience and qualification,
25% Tax is applied
Housing:
Based on application fully furnished Housing provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
Flight(s) provided for the teacher, spouse and up to 2 dependants
Tuition fees covered for children:

90 % discount is offered for child 1
90 % discount is offered for child 2
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
