Our client is a post-16 Secondary school based in the cosmopolitan Shanghai. This international school adopts the British national curriculum and caters for students from aged 16 to 18 delivering the IGCSE and A Level programme.
 
There are just over 400 students in the whole school and they are all hardworking and keen to learn. All the teaching staff in the school are qualified teachers mainly coming from the UK.
 
This international school is located in the Pudong area and has a large and purpose built campus. The school has a good range of facilities where students can benefit from it.

- Bachelor degree in Chemistry (2.1  and above)
- PGCE in Physics
- Experience in teaching IGCSE or A Level Chemistry
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 18,000 up to 25.000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 5000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
8,000RMB  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
