We are currently looking for professional and experience Chemistry teacher to work a permanent contract for our outstanding client based in the cosmopolitan Shanghai, China.
The school follows British national curriculum for students from IGCSE to A-Level aged 15-18. Currently, there are 400 students and the school campus is well facilitated which situated in the universities area and easy to access by public transports.
Job description:
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to students up to A’Level align with up to date syllabus
- Monitor, evaluate and record students’ learning progress and attainment
- Set and mark assignments and exams
- Review and ensure the curriculum is up to date
- Set clear targets for students and ensure their success
- Maintain good order and discipline among students
- Communicate with parents and ensure they aware of their children’s progress
- Participate in meetings with parents
- Participate in school/department meetings
The successful candidates MUST have a Bachelor degree in Education or relevant subject with teaching qualification (PGCE or Teaching Certificate), minimum 2 years of teaching experience, experience in Asia is preferable but not essential, cultural awareness is preferred, experience of teaching students whose English is not their first language, excellent communication skills and time management, adapt to new environment easily, perform well under pressure, excellent team player as well as working individually.
