SeekTeachers is currently for a Grade 1 teacher to join our client's team in China commencing January 2016. Our client is an international school located in Dongguan China.
The school was first founded about 20 years ago and provides education to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The school follows both the English and Chinese curriculum and currently has about 400 students with over 80% local Chinese students and 20% foreign students.

**Develops lesson plans and instructional materials
**Uses a variety of strategies such as inquiry, group discussion lecture and etc
**Participate in school and parents meetings
**Establish and maintain standards of student behaviour
**Communicate with parents to discuss about student's progress
**Working productively with other school staff
**Supervise students activities during the school day
**Participates in curriculum development programs as required
The school has a beautiful surrounding with plenty of green. The teaching staff are mostly expatriates coming from USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and some part of Asia. The school is equipped with high standard facilities. As the school is expanding now, there is a plan for the school to build another building with additional facilities.
The city of Dongguan is situated in the Pearl River Delta area of Southern China, between the larger cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen-Hong Kong. Hong Kong and Macau are around two hours away by bus or train, and there is easy access from Dongguan to all parts of East and South-East Asia. During holiday times the staff can visit Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and, of course, all parts of China. Two major international airports (Hong Kong and Guangzhou) are close by, and there is a bullet train service from Guangzhou to Beijing.
