A prominent private school in China is currently hiring a dynamic and self-motivated educator to join the team in August 2016.  This is a well-established school and situated at the suburb of the capital of China, which provides both students and teachers quiet, greenery and clean environment. 
 
The school delivers both local Chinese and International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum and it is a fully authorised IB world school.  The work week consists of not more than 35 teaching hours a week.  The campus is equipped with necessary supplies to assist’ all their staff to ensure they promote high quality of teaching.
 
You will be expected to:
 
- Understand PYP and the developmental needs of primary students
- Strong ability to measure the essential elements of the PYP using a range of assessment strategies
- Monitor, assess and record each student’s learning progress and development
- Supervise and assist students inside and outside the school 
- Encourage students and build their esteem
- Establish routines and provide positive guidance
- Clearly and effectively communicate in a manner that children understand
- Communicate with parents and ensure they aware their child’s progress and development
- Participate in school and parents’ meetings
- Participate in all CPD activities
 
You will need to have:
 
- Bachelor degree in Education/ Primary or equivalent
- Teaching qualification from western countries
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Primary
- IB experience is preferable but the school also provide IB training to the staff
- International teaching experience is advantageous
- Flexible and easy to adapt to new culture

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 15,000 up to 22,000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
