SeekTeachers is recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced A Level Chemistry teacher to join our client in August 2016.
Minimum requirements:
**Bachelor degree or above in Chemistry or relevant subject
**Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS/Teaching Diploma/License
**Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, strong NQT will also be considered
**Native English speaker
**Experience in ESL/international teaching is preferred
**Teaching experience in CIE is preferred but not essential
**Flexible to adapt into new culture
Our client is a post 16 school delivers the Cambridge International Examinations to Chinese children aged between 14 and 19 who intent on continuing their education overseas. This international school has a humble start in 2011 and has since grown into a medium size school with just over 460 Chinese students and 80 teaching staff, mainly from the UK.

Job descriptions:
- Having a general lesson plan for all lessons. Plan should be based on the published Scheme of Work and include lesson objectives, teaching methodology and homework details
- Teaching strictly to the CIE syllabus. Teachers should use the teaching materials adopted by the school and to supplement with any suitable resource material when necessary
- Becoming familiar with the programs and courses of study used at the school to ensure the teaching quality
- Assigning homework, test and providing clear and actionable feedback in a timely manner
- Meeting with parents to discuss student's progress according to the school's arrangements
- Participating in and/or help to organise extracurricular activities
- Being observed by the Academic director, subject coordinator and/or designed personnel for evaluation purposes and to get support, encouragement and feedback for teaching
- Regularly evaluating his/her own performance and progress
