Description

An International Baccalaureate (IB) school in Nanjing, China is seeking for an Upper Primary teacher to join their established team in China ASAP. This position is permanent and ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
 
- Degree or higher in Primary Education
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS/Teaching License/Diploma
- English native speaker
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- ESL/International teaching experience
- Flexible to adapt into new culture
 
This international school has been established for over 5 years and adopts the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and is planning to open their secondary department in August 2016.
 
The school is located in in the city centre and has a modern and purpose build campus with great facilities. Students are aged between 3 and 12 years with over 15 different nationalities.
 
Nanjing is the capital of Jiangsu Province and it is one of the top four ancient capitals of China as it was the capital of several dynasties. There are a lot of historical architectures and beautiful scenic in the city which are the favourite places for foreigner from all over the world. In the last decade, Nanjing growing rapidly and became one of the modern commercial centres in the Province. Commercial buildings, shopping centres, high-end apartments, bars, clubs and karaoke are everywhere.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 18,000 up to 23,000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 3,000RMB   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
10,000RMB CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
