SeekTeachers is looking for a qualified Chemistry teacher to join our established clients in August 2016.
 
Our client is one of the top ranked high schools in Shanghai . The international school is established in 2011 and has strived from a promisingly new school of 80 students to a moderately influential of around 460 students and 70 teaching and administrative staff. This international school offers an internationally recognised Cambridge curriculum (GCSE and A Level) for Chinese High School students.
 
The school campus is located within 5 minute walk from the subway, giving it easy access to all areas of the city. The school campus is clean and modern with every classroom equipped with a projector and whiteboard facilities, as well as wifi throughout the campus.
 
As our client is a fairly young school, there are many opportunities for teachers to develop, making this an ideal job prospect for dedicated professional educators who are seeking a warm working environment.
 
Requirements to apply: 
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry or relevant subject, grade 2.1 and above
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS/Teaching license
- English native speaker
- Ideally two years teaching experience in Cambridge curriculum (strong NQT will be considered)
- ESL teaching experience is beneficial but not essential
- Flexible to adapt into new culture
- Would like to have a unique teaching experience
 
Remuneration package: 
- Salary starting from RM18,000RMB per month
- Housing allowance of 5,000RMB per month
- Contract completion bonus
- Annual flight allowance of 8,000RMB
- One week free accommodation upon the arrival in Shanghai

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**University degree or above in relevant subject area - MUST BE ABOVE 2.1
**Holding a recognized teaching qualification
**Experience in teaching A Level or IBDP

Although we prefer candidates who have relevant working experience in an international teaching and learning environment, especially the experiences of offering well-recognized international program to ESL (English as Second Language) students, opportunities are also given to those who have the academic potential and the willpower to excel in the teaching profession.

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 18,000 up to 25,000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 15-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of 5000CNY   CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
8000.00 (Flight is round-trip air-fare)  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) Allowance is provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given
Emergency Evacuation:
Emergency evacuation given
Gratuity Amount:
Gratuity Amount of 4 weeks at the end of the 2 year contract is provided
Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
