This is a private international school located in the beautiful Borneo island and is currently recruiting for a Secondary Mathematics teacher to join their strong team in August 2016. 
 
If you are a qualified Mathematics teacher with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience, an English native speaker and would like to start a new career in August 2016, don't miss this great opportunity. 
 
The international school is first founded in 1990s and is known to be one of the top international school in Sarawak for providing high quality international education for local and expatriates families. The international school caters for children from Early Years to Secondary students from ages 3 to 18. The students in Primary school follow the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and Secondary school programme is based on the English National Curriculum. 
 
Job specifications: 
 
- To plan lesson in accordance with the agreed curriculum
- To liaise with colleagues on the planning of work 
- To set and mark examinations and other forms of assessments
- To be able to use ICT during lessons 
- To set a good example to students 
- To take responsibilities for matters relating to healthy and safety 
- To attend all school and parents meetings
- To report on student's progress in line with the school policy
 
The international school has approximately 600 students at present coming from 25 different countries. Students are all hardworking, have good discipline and keen to learn. 
 
Malaysia is a multicultural society. While Malays make up the majority, there are also Chinese, Indian and others. The most common languages spoken in the country are Malay, Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin), English and Tamil. Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 7,000 up to 10,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
