SeekTeachers is looking for a qualified Physics teacher to join them in the prestigious school in Cairo, the capital city of Egypt.
 
This international school is founded more than 10 years ago and is run by a large educational organisation. The international school offers education to students aged 3 to 18, from Foundation Stage to IBDP level. 
 
The school is well equipped with facilities include air-conditioned classrooms, library, swimming pool, tennis court, playing field, computer lab, science lab, art & design room and school canteen. The school aim to provide world class education to the younger generation, to realise their full potentials and success in their future.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 
**Deliver lessons according to the curriculum and examination syllabus
**Assist and supervise students on all school activities
**Set and mark homework, coursework and test to students in accordance to the school policies
**Being a good team player and work effectively in a group
**Attend department meeting and report to them of student progress appropriately
**Supervise students and ensure their safety when attending school trips
**Ensure the equipment and resources in the lab are up-to-date and meet the heath & safety regulations
**Maintain classroom discipline
**Providing advice and supporting student's needs
 
There are currently over 1000 students in the school with about 120 school staff. A small population of the students are expatriates with over 25 nations while the school staff consists of 40% expatriates coming from UK, USA, Canada, Australia and other part of Asia.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years
Type of Staff:
Male or Female can apply to this job
Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 14,000 up to 20,000  GBP (British Pound) per annum based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Housing allowance of 4,000 EGP  GBP (British Pound) provided

Flight(s) provided
Bereavement Leave:
Bereavement leave given

Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
