An international school in Cairo is now recruiting for an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic French teacher to start immediately. The international school follows the American curriculum from Kindergarten up to Grade 12.
This international school caters for students from the age of 3 to 18 year old.
The international school currently has over 400 students at present and is continue to expand. The students are mostly local Egyptian students with a small percentage of foreign students. The students are all eager to learn, hardworking and discipline. The teacher's population however, is consisting of large percentage of expatriate teachers with only 20% of non-expatriate teachers.
Job specifications:
**Understand and the developmental needs of primary students
**Deliver lessons in French
**Strong ability to measure the essential elements of the curriculum using a range of assessment strategies
**Establish routines and provide positive guidance
**Strategies to include children with English as Additional Language (EAL)
**Communicate with parents and ensure they aware their child’s progress and development
**Participate in school and parents’ meetings
**Participate in professional development activities
**Organise and involve in school activities, events and trips.
