A female upper Primary teacher is urgently required by our client in the UAE for immediate start. The international school follows the American curriculum and is currently caters for over 500 female students. Most students consist of local Emiratis with a small 5% of them are expatriate students coming from USA, Canada, Ireland and Chinese. The academic staff, however, consists of mainly expatriates with only 20% of them are non-expatriates.
Duties and responsibilities
*Apply various teaching techniques to ensure the lesson is fun and interesting
*Plan, prepare and deliver lesson according to the syllabus
*Be able to deliver lessons through interactive whiteboards and information technology
*Assess student learning development and ensure parents are aware of it
*Set a good example to students
*Set and mark homework and test
*Provide support to student in their English language skills
*Be able to control the classroom discipline and monitor student behaviour
*Carry out the tasks given by the head of department
*Ensure student safety during the lesson and within the school environment
Apply immediately if you have the following:
- Bachelor degree in Primary Education or relevant subject
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS/Teaching license
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- English native speaker
- Be able to commence work immediately
