SeekTeachers is looking for an IBDP Visual Art teacher to join their successful team in the beautiful Beijing. This position is permanent and to commence in August 2016.
This international school follows the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum caters for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 delivering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).
The international school is located in the outskirt of Beijing, approximately 45 mins away from the Great Wall. The school campus is huge and set on a 10 acre land. There is a beautiful green and peaceful environment with excellent range of facilities such as climate controlled classrooms, interactive whiteboard (IWB), high speed internet, ICT labs, science labs, libraries, music hall, art & design centre, gymnasium, tennis courts, basketball courts, football field, athletic tracks, swimming pool and cafeteria.
The total number of students in the whole school is 1,400 made up of 80% local Chinese and 20% of foreign students with over 40 different nationalities. The academic staff however, are consisted of mainly expatriates with 20% of non-expatriates.
In order to apply for the position, you will need to meet the below requirements:
-Bachelor degree in Art or relevant subject
-Teaching qualification such as PGCSE/QTS/Teaching Certificate/Diploma
-Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
-Native English speaker
-IB teaching experience in beneficial although not essential
