Primary Humanities Teacher | Teaching job in Malaysia | January 2016 start
Our client is a growing private school located in the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. The school follows the UK Curriculum syllabus and provides educational service to students from 3-16 year old. The school currently consists of 400 students with different nationalities and also 40 staff with majority of them are expatriates and a small percentage from the local.
This private school is now recruiting for a Primary Humanities teacher to join them in January 2016. This position is permanent and contract is for 2 years.
Requirements to apply:
** Bachelor degree or above in Primary Education or relevant subject
** Teaching qualification such as PGCE, PGDE or QTS
** Minimum of 2 years teaching experience and preferably international experience
** Excellent understanding of UK curriculum
** Must be English native speaker
** Strong IT and communications skills
** A good team player and effective in work
** Knowledge in Malaysian culture and language would be beneficial

Duties and responsibilities:
** Implement guidelines and policies as agreed by the school
** Plan and teach lessons to meet the students needs
** Set challenging tasks for students according to their abilities
** Maintain classroom discipline and monitor student behaviours and report appropriately
** Listen to students, guide them and give positive directions
** Supervise students in all activities within the school or field trips
** Participate in parents and school meetings and ensure both parents and the school aware of the students developments
** Apply different teaching methods to students and monitor their learning abilities
