PE Teacher in Spain | Offering 22,000 Euro per annum | Scope for career progression
 
This role has just come up due to a teacher having to head back home due to an emergency. The school is located in the beautiful city of Zaragoza and has beautiful surroundings. This is a very cheap part of town to live in as you can find suitable accommodation for only 350 euro a month.
 
The school delivers the Spanish Curriculum but does recruit western trained teachers so teaching and learning is done in Spanish as well as English. The school already has some expatriates working there so you will be able to network well. If you are able to speak Spanish, this would be benefits but is not essential
 
Salary Package: 22300 Euro per annum gross plus free lunch and free transportation.  There is a low cost of living here so you will still be able to save and put money away.
 
Requirements to apply:
**A Bachelors degree in PE or
**A degree in PE with PGCE In PE with QTS
**You MUST have passed your NQT induction year although candidates with 2 years experience are preferred - A letter from the relevant Ministry of Education in Britain/Ireland which states that the candidate has successfully completed their – post PGCE induction period of one year, where required, depending on when they studied their PGCE/degree. This requirement dates from 07/05/1999
**MUST be a native speaker of English
**Western trained
**Ability to speak Spanish would be advantageous
**Spanish legal translations of all these documents are also required. The school normally has these done here in Spain, at our cost.
 
The school prefers candidates that hold an EU passport due to immigration and getting a valid teaching license by the Spanish Ministry and so teachers from the UK and Ireland are preferred as per the clients request.

You need to be a teacher that would be happy to assist in after school clubs and activities and get students engaged in sport. Spain is a country that is very active in the sporting world and so as a teacher of PE, teaching the students will be fun and engaging.
 
The school starts at 9:30am and finishes 17:30pm with a maximum teaching load of 27 hours full time!  There are morning and lunch breaks which split the out.  Duties will include  teaching children aged 3-5, 30 minute lessons 5 time a week.
 
You are given roughly the same amount of holidays as a British School calendar, except you have much better weather.
