This is an international Baccalaureate (IB) school situated in Beijing and has been established for more than 20 years. The school has over 2,000 students at present with over 200 teaching staff. All the teaching staff are qualified teachers who are either western trained or English native speakers.
As an Performing teacher, you are expected to:
- Understand IBMYP and the developmental needs of high school students
- Strong ability to measure the essential elements of the MYP using a range of assessment strategies
- Understand different approaches to different level students
- Actively engaged in curriculum development
- Strong ability to manage students’ behaviour in class
- Maintain health and safety of all students during all activities
- Supervise and assist all students to reach their level
- Communicate effectively with parents and make sure they aware of their child learning development
- Participate in parents and school meetings
- Participate in professional development activities ie IB workshop
