SeekTeachers is hiring for a professional and experienced MYP Humanities teacher to join our client's successful team in Beijing. This is an international school that adopts the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum to children from Primary, Middle to High School.
 
The international school has over 2,000 students in the whole school at present. Students are comprised of 80% Chinese students and 20% of foreign students with over 30 different nationalities. Students are all hardworking, discipline and keen to learn. The school also has a team of qualified and professional teachers with over 80% of the teacher's population having a Master degree.
 
Job specifications:
- Apply different teaching methods to ensure the lesson is fun, exciting and interesting.
- Monitoring, recording and assessing students' learning development
- Providing advice and supporting student's needs
- Maintaining student's behaviour and discipline
- Being a good team player and work effectively in a group
- Setting challenges for students according to their abilities
- Attending parents and school meetings
- Build a good relationship with parents and ensure they are aware of their children progress

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 15,000 up to 21,000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
