Teaching job in Malaysia | IGCSE History Teacher | January 2016 start
 
An established international school in Malaysia is seeking for an IGCSE History teacher to join them in January 2016. The international school adopts the British National curriculum and caters for children from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. The international school has over 500 students at present and aged from 5 to 16 and comprised of 90% Malaysian students.
 
The school is seeking for an experienced and dedicated Secondary History  teacher to join them. The candidate MUST be a qualified History teacher with the experience in teaching IGCSE History, an English native speaker with 2 years teaching experience.
 
The school offers an attractive salary package including salary, housing allowance, transport allowance, medical insurance, flight, relocation allowance, working permita and holiday.
 
This is a good opportunity for candidate who wishes to start their teaching career in the tropical Malaysia.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 7,000 up to 9,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,500   MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided
Medical:
State/Public medical provided
Flights:
Flight(s) provided
Bereavement Leave:

Contract Length:
2 years contract renewable on mutual agreement
