A private international school in Malaysia is looking for an IGCSE History teacher to join their school in January 2016. The school is located in a residential area in Selangor and is only 30 minute away from Kuala Lumpur.  
 
The school offers British national curriculum and offers educational service to students ranging from 5-16 year old. The school has approximately 500 students and 60 school staff. The student population is 95% from the local families and another 5% from the expat families. The teaching population is also mainly non-expatriates with 20% expatriates coming from UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand and other parts of Asia.  The school has an English speaking environment and you will find yourself have no problems adapting in the school when you arrive. 
 
The school environment is clean, fresh and safe and equipped with top quality facilities. The facilities include smart boards, libraries, science labs, ICT labs, high speed internet, gymnasium, multi-purpose hall, football pitch, athletic tracks, basketball courts, volleyball courts, medical room, art room, living skills workshop and canteen.

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 7,000 up to 9,000  MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
Housing:
Housing allowance of RM1,500   MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) provided
