Our client is a new private international school in Malaysia, this particular branch is under a group of education organization. The school is currently hiring a self-motivated and progressive Primary Coordinator to start in August 2016.
Minimum requirements:
**Bachelor degree in Primary or equivalent
**Teaching qualification from western countries
**Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Early Years
**Minimum 2 years of experience in Middle management
**Good understanding of IPC
**International experience is preferable
**Flexible and easy to adapt to new culture
Role and responsibilities:
- To lead the implementation of a whole school policy and practice in the development and Primary teaching
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the English curriculum
- To lead the development of teaching and learning in English, resulting in engagement, enjoyment and progress in lessons
- Engage and motivate other English teachers
- To set direction for improvements and ensure confident delivery
- Strong personal organisation and administration to meet deadlines
- To lead a team of English teachers to raise expectations and standards
- To implement techniques that includes demonstrations teaching, one-to-one observations and coaching
- Familiarise with strategies to support vulnerable learners so that they achieve well
This school offers both International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and Cambridge International Examination (CIE) syllabus to students from 3 to 18 years old.
