Malaysia has 2 separate lands - the peninsula and the east Malaysia. Both of them have different culture and ethnic with Malay, Chinese and Indian. A prominent international school in Malaysia is looking for an experienced and dynamic IGCSE History teacher to join their team. This well established private school follows English national curriculum. This is a private international school with 500 students ageing from 5 to 16.
Duties and responsibilities:
**Plan, prepare and deliver lessons up to IGCSE
**Ensure the course material and syllabuses are up to date
**Monitor, assess and record students’ learning progress
**Positively targeting and supporting individual learning needs
**Maintaining high levels of behaviour and discipline
**Participate in parents meeting and communicate with parents to ensure they aware of their child’s progress
**Participate in department and school meetings
**Undertake professional development to enhance teaching and students’ learning
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor degree in History or relevant subject
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE/QTS/Teaching Diploma
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- English native speaker
- ESL/international teaching experience is beneficial
