Our client is one of the popular international schools in Malaysia and they are currently hiring a positive and enthusiastic History teacher for January 2016 start. This private international school follows UK national curriculum for students from Year 1 to Year 11 age ranging 5 to 16 years old.
The whole school has 400 students in total and is made up of 20% expatriate students and 80% non-expatriate students. All students are discipline, confident, independent and eager to learn. There are over 40 academic staff in the school with majority of them are expatriate teachers coming from UK, Australia, USA, New Zealand and Ireland.
The school campus is located only 40 minutes from Singapore via a causeway. The school has a large campus with a clean and green leafy environment provide excellent and quiet learning atmosphere for students. The facilities in the school is well-equipped such as air conditioned classrooms, smart board and computer in each classroom, ICT labs, science labs, music room, piano room, art & design room, indoor swimming pool, football fields, basketball courts, medical room, cafeteria and prayer room.
Malaysia is in the equator zone therefore it has a tropical climate all year around. The beautiful long coastline with lovely sandy beaches, plus luxury and chic resorts attract visitors or even local residents to spend their holiday here. Malaysia has 2 separate lands - the peninsula and the east Malaysia. Both of them have different culture and ethnic with Malay, Chinese and Indian. The range of cuisine and cooking style are also different, people love to try the authentic and high standard of quality food from local hawker stalls, coffee shops and restaurants in the town.
