Our client is one of the leading international school in New Cairo. The school has continued to grow since it first opened more than 20 years ago. The school follows the British National and International Baccalaureate curriculum and it now enrols over 1000 students aged between 5 to 18 year old.
The school main campuses consist of 2 three storey building with one being the school Primary campus and one the Secondary campus. There are also other small buildings around the main campuses being used as science labs, computer labs, gymnasium, music room, art & design room and indoor multi-purpose hall. All classrooms in the school are installed with air-conditioner and smart board.
We are now looking for a passionate and qualified Science teacher with 3 years teaching experience to join our client for the starting term in August 2015.
Job specifications:
- Deliver high quality lessons in accordance with UK National curriculum
- Teach student according to their educational needs e.g. setting and marking of coursework/exams
- Ensure the teaching resources/materials are up-to-date
- Provide guidance and advice to students when they face difficulties
- Maintains regular communication with parents with regard to the student needs
- Carry out any other reasonable duties given by the Head
- Ensure student safety when carry out experiment in the school science lab
- Ensure the resource materials and equipment meet the Health and Safety Regulations
- Attend department, school and parents meetings
