This is a permanent position and it is suitable for an enthusiastic and dynamic instructor who is western trained with minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Primary, ideally with experience teaching EAL students, IB experience is advantageous.
This international school is under one of the largest education organisations in Asia with over 40 branches. The school follow EYFS and UK curriculum and it is also an IB candidate school. The school offers care to 600 students from 2.5 – 18 years old.
The school campus is situated in an exclusive area with high-end residential estates and shopping malls around. The facilities in the school are well-equipped include lovely classrooms, smart boards, libraries, computer room, art room, music room, piano room, dance room, soft toy playroom, medical room, indoor and outdoor playgrounds.
Job responsibilities:
- Understand PYP and the developmental needs of Primary students
- Strong ability to measure the essential elements of the PYP using a range of assessment strategies
- Monitor, assess and record each student’s learning progress and development
- Supervise and assist students inside and outside the school
- Create and design teaching materials
- Ensure equipment and facilities are well maintained and safe for children
- Encourage students and build their esteem
- Establish routines and provide positive guidance
- Clearly and effectively communicate in a manner that children understand
- Communicate with parents and ensure they aware their child’s progress and development
- Participate in school and parents’ meetings
