SeekTeachers is UGENTLY seeking for an experienced and qualified Elementary teacher to join our client's established team in Cairo, Egypt this summer.
Our client is an international school located in Cairo with a large and modern purpose build campus. The school adopts the American curriculum and caters for children from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
The school has about 400 children at present and still expanding. There are also over 40 teaching staff in the whole school. All the teachers are fully qualified and coming mainly from USA and Canada.
Duties and responsibilities:
**Understand and the developmental needs of Elementary students
**Plan and deliver lessons and ensure the curriculum is up to date
**Strong ability to measure the essential elements of the American curriculum using a range of assessment strategies
**Establish routines and provide positive guidance
**Strategies to include children with English as Additional Language (EAL)
**Communicate with parents and ensure they aware their child’s progress and development
**Participate in school and parents’ meetings
**Participate in professional development activities
**Organise and involve in school activities, events and trips.
