Head of Science
HOD science Teacher
16,000 QR Tax Free

The school is planning on coming to the UK to interview selected candidates face to face with the opportunity of securing there next academic year job. The location is still yet to be confirmed but is planned to be in London and will be commencing on the 30th of April.

SeekTeachers are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Head of Science teacher. The teacher should ensure they have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience and would be highly preferred if they have experience of head of department. The candidate must have a degree in specialist Science topic. The teacher should either have experience of working with the UK Curriculum or have a strong understanding of it. All applicants must be a native English speaker and must be a fully qualified teacher.
 
HOD Science Duties:
**Good communication and language skills subject to multiple nationalities
**Setting homework, assignments and examinations to ensure the students progression
**Great IT skills as you will be using interactive whiteboards and other technologies
**A clear understanding of the curriculum
**Ability to build rapport with children and parents
**Feedback and guidance on student’s abilities and performance
**Be patient and dynamic with students understanding as their native language may not be English
**Be versatile to mix the student’s abilities and follow up their progress every step of the way
 
This international school has been around for approximately 15 years now and was one of the first schools in Qatar to deliver the UK curriculum up to A-level. The school’s reputation has been tendered in previous years by new senior management have been brought in the last two years and have made huge improvements.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
2 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Additional:
**Your degree should ideally be in line with your teaching subject

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 12000 up to 16000  QAR (Qatar Riyal) per month based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
