Our client is urgently seeking for a Design & Technology instructor to join their successful team in the capital city of Egypt, Cairo. The position commences by the end of August 2013. You have to be a qualified and western-trained teacher to apply for this position and ideally with some experience in delivering the lessons by using the ICT facilities. 
 
This international school delivers the British National curriculum. However the students will have an option to progress to International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme once they completed their IGCSE if they wish to. Student's population is made up of majority non-expatriate students with a small amount of foreign students. The school has an English and Arabic speaking environment.  
 
The international school is located in the heart of Cairo and has a large expatriate community. The international school has been established for more than 20 years and strong academic records. Job specifications: 
 
- Keep students engaged in the lessons 
- Deliver lessons that cater for students with various abilities
- Be up-to-date with the curriculum and teaching resources
- Ensure students are aware of the safety measures in the classroom 
- Maintain machines, tools, equipment and ICT facilities
- Carry out tasks that given by the Head of Department 
- Be able to work efficiently as an individual or as part of a team
- Participate in schools events and trips 
- Maintain classroom discipline

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 14,000 up to 18,000  GBP (British Pound) per annum based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Housing allowance of 4,000 EGP  GBP (British Pound) provided
