A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Primary PYP teacher with our prestigious client in China for 2015 start. This is an International Baccalaureate (IB) world school offers Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme for students from K to 12 ageing between 3-18 years old.
 
This private international school has a modern campus with high-tech facilities include climate control classrooms, WiFi access within campus, libraries, science labs, ICT labs, art & design room, music room, auditorium, swimming pool, tennis courts, gymnasium, medical room and cafeteria.
 
The number of students in the school is 2,000 with 10% expatriate students and 90% non-expatriate students. There is also over 200 experienced teaching staff with over 15 different nationalities working in the school at present.
 
Job descriptions:
- Understand PYP and the developmental needs of primary students
- Strong ability to measure the essential elements of the PYP using a range of assessment strategies
- Monitor, assess and record each student’s learning progress and development
- Encourage students and build their esteem
- Establish routines and provide positive guidance
- Communicate with parents and ensure they aware their child’s progress and development
- Participate in school and parents’ meetings
- Participate in professional development activities

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Primary or relevant subject
- Teaching qualification from western countries
- 2 years of teaching experience in Primary
- International experience is advantageous
- Good time management and team player
- Flexible and adaptable to new culture

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 18,000 up to 23,000  CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
