An IB candidate school is seeking a fun and creative PYP English teacher to join their team based in Beijing China. The position is permanent and to commence in August 2015.
This private school catering for about 2000 students from Grade 1 to Grade 12, aged 5 to 18, most of the students are from local Chinese and 10% expatriate students from different part of the world. The number of staff in the whole school is 200 comsist of 60% expatriate teachers and 40% non-expatriate teachers.
Job description of this role:
*Planning, preparing and delivering PYP lessons
*Monitoring, recording and assessing pupils’ progress and development
*Provides immediate and appropriate responses based on student need
*Maintain classroom discipline
*Act professionally at all times, setting a good example to children
*Use all learning resources effectively
*Communicating with parents and make sure they aware the development of their children
*Organise and participate in parent meetings
*Participate in school meetings
*Participate in professional development training
*Adaptable to new environment and be able to work under pressure
