Our client is an International Baccalaureate school based in the capital city of China, Beijing. The international school adopts the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) to students from aged 5 to 18.
The school has just over 2,000 students at present and also provides the boarding facilities. The student's population is comprised of 90% expatriates and 10% Chinese.
To apply for the position, you will need to be a qualified Chemistry teacher with minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Art. Good understanding of the IB curriculum and experience in teaching ESL students will be beneficial.
Beijing is the capital of China is one of the metropolis cities in the country. The city has both ancient historic architects and modern beautiful buildings. The Great Wall, Forbidden City, Olympics Bird's Nest and Olympics Aqua Stadium are the famous attractions. The Chinese said "Who has never been to the Great Wall is not a real man". Chinese food, the famous Peking dish crispy skin roast duck is one of the reasons why people come to visit Beijing. International cuisines are also available. Beijing has a large expat community and it is very easy to meet new people and make friends.
