An established International Early Years school in Singapore is currently recruiting for an Early Years teacher to join their successful team in August 2015. This is a good opportunity for you to start you international teaching career in the Southeast Asia!!
Duties and responsibilities:
**Strong ability to measure the essential elements of the Reggio Emilia using a range of assessment strategies
**Understand Reggio Emilia and the developmental needs of primary students
**Understand different approaches to different level students
**Maintain health and safety of all students during all activities
**Supervise and assist all students to reach their level
**Communicate effectively with parents and make sure they aware of their child learning development
**Actively engaged in curriculum development
**Strong ability to manage students’ behaviour in class
This international school has just over 200 children aged from 2 to 6 made up of 40% expatriates and 60% non-expatriates. The school is located in a quiet area in the north of downtown with a beautiful green surroundings. There is over 20 teaching staff in the school with over 20 different nationalities. All of them are qualified teachers who either English native speakers or western trained.
In order to apply for the position, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Early Childhood
- Teaching qualification (PGCE/ PGDE/ QTS/ GDT/ Teaching License)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Early Years
- Reggio Emilia or PYP experience is beneficial
- International experience is advantageous
