You ideally should have a degree in English with a PGCE and ideally 2 years of full time teaching experience. If you have experience of teaching to non-native speakers of English this will be beneficial. We are seeking a teacher of English that can start September 2015. To apply you will need to be MALE.  The ideal candidate will have the following:
 
**Good lesson planning and preparation skills
**Be organised and inspirational
**Be culturally aware
**Good skills for assessment
**Be a flexible teacher that can adapt to different cultures and environments
 
English Teachers will be expected to:
**Deliver English language lessons mainly from a standardised textbook
**Ensure they can differentiate lessons for varying needs of students
**Have good classroom management skills
**Have up to date knowledge of the UK KS3 and 4 curriculums
**Be a good role model too students
**Ensure formative assessment is carried out
**Provide attainable homework and give feedback to students
 
The school is a UK National Curriculum school delivering mainly to local Emirati and international students. It recently expanded due to its popularity and is looking for experienced teachers to join its team.
