SeekTeachers is looking for a qualified Homeroom Teacher who can deliver the UK curriculum to non-native English Students. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Education with a minimum of 2 years teaching experience. Anybody who has similar qualifications will be considered for the role. Ideal the candidate should have taught Arabic students prior to accept this job but this is not mandatory. Any further qualifications should be stated on the CV as this may increase their chances of securing the job.
 
The school was established around 15 years ago by local Qatari business men who have visions to increase the English speaking levels of local Arabic children. The businessmen have managed to accrue a total of 5000 local and international students coming from over 60 different countries worldwide.
 
Teacher of Homeroom Responsibilities:
**Planning primary teaching lessons as per the UK structure
**Differentiating your primary lessons
**Using formative assessment strategies
**Finding innovative methods of engaging students in the school
**Catering for students where English is not the first language
**Being able to adapt to the culture in Dubai
**Provide feedback to parents about their child's progression
**Be a good team player and adaptable
**Keep up to date with teaching strategies and methods
**Attend departments meetings
