PYP Teaching Vacancy
IB School in Dubai
Our client is looking for an experienced Teacher of PYP to start at an IB School in Dubai. The school have asked for candidates to ensure they have experience of delivering the IB Curriculum previously as they will settle in quicker. All Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Primary Education plus a minimum of two years teaching experience. If the candidate has any experience of working internationally previously this would be highly preferred by the school. All candidates should be qualified from a recognised university from a western country and should also ensure they are a native English speaker.
The school was established in the early 2000’s by local businessmen who had a vision to raise the recognition of the IB Curriculum. So far the school is showing great signs to become a leading international school in Dubai.
They currently have around 700 students, where majority of which are local Emirati’s but there is also a small international community within the school campus. On the other hand the majority of teachers are international coming from a number of western countries. All Teachers are specialist in delivering there subjects.
PYP Duties:
**Adapt well into new surroundings and cultures
**Able to give feedback to the parents of the pupils on where you feel the child could improve
**Able to differentiate in your classroom and set work accordingly
**Able to set class room rules and make sure the pupils stick to it
**Keep children motivated to learn in your class by setting an exciting classroom environment
**Allow all children to get involved with the class, for example do group work
