SeekTeachers is seeking for an Upper Primary teacher to join their school this August. Our client is one of the top international schools in the city and gained good academic reputation since its first established.
Role and responsibilities
**Plan lessons and coursework in accordance with the primary syllabus
**Ensure students' safety in the school environment
**Ensure teaching resources/materials are used in an appropriately way
**Assess student learning development and ensure the school and parents are aware of it
**Create challenging tasks for students
**Supervise students in all activities within the school or field trips
**Be a role model and set a good example to student
**Carry out any other reasonable duties given by the head
The school is located in the heart of New Cairo with good public transports links. The school follows both British National curriculum and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) to students in the school . The school currently has 1200 students aged between 3-18 year old with 80% local Egyptian students. The remaining 20% students are expatriates coming from UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. There are over 100 school staff with a large 80% expatriate staff and 20% non-expatriates.
Cairo is an ancient city with thousand years of history.
