About the school
This prominent international school established over 20 years ago and its objective is to provide high quality education to the young generations to have a bright future. Our client is an international school based in Cairo offers both UK National curriculum and International Baccalaureate (IB) programme to students from Foundation year up to Key Stage 5 or IB Diploma Programme (IBDP).
 
The school campus has 6 buildings in total and 2 of the buildings are used as a main campus for both primary and secondary students with the remaining small buildings are being used as other facilities. The school has a green surrounding and equipped with excellent range of facilities such as science labs, computer labs, music room, art & design room, air-conditioned classrooms with interactive white boards, huge sport hall, outdoor swimming pool, running track, football pitch, gymnasium, play area, basketball court and adventure playground. 
 
There are currently 1200 students enrolled in the school in 2014 with over 120 school staff. Up to 70% of the students are the local Egyptians and the remaining 30% are expatriates. Majority of the school staff are expatriates with over 40 different nationalities and a small percentage of them are non-expatriates. The school is very popular and located just in the centre of the city.

Minimum Application Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum Qualification Requirement: M.Ed, B.Ed or a relevant Bachelor's Degree with a Teaching Qualification
Experience:
3 Years

Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa)
Must be a native speaker of English
Prefer candidates with international experience
Teachers with a degree but no teaching qualification are NOT accepted
Experienced teachers with no qualification are NOT accepted
Non-western trained teachers who have worked in an international educational institute before are NOT accepted

Remuneration Package

Salary Range:
A salary from 14,000 up to 18,000  GBP (British Pound) per annum based on experience and qualification, TAX FREE
Housing:
Housing allowance of 4,000 EGP  GBP (British Pound) provided
